An international version of 1C’s ERP system will appear in September 2019. This is being done to make programming easier, including by foreign specialists.

The developers of the English-language version of the system, which the company plans to resource, promise to increase its functionality. The work started back in June 2019. To this end, the company has created a software translation technology that works automatically. Field professionals from Smartcat are working on the translation. The workflow is as follows: words/phrases that appear in the configuration repository and need to be translated go straight into Smartcat. After the translation, they go back to the system on their own. In addition to the interface, the specialists translate the code itself, as the original configuration was written in Russian. In this case, we are talking about application code in the embedded language: functions, procedures, variables, configuration metadata are translated.
